BOLEHKAH karya seni bernafas di luar galeri: ya dan tidak. Saya baru sahaja pulang dari sebuah pameran di Rumah AQL . Terus terang saya katakan, saya tidak berasa apa-apa. Menjadi perjalanan kosong di sekitar sarat imej seni. Yang sepatutnya - saya lebih rela - mengikuti perjalanan padat kalaupun berlegar di ruang kosong. Saya teringat akan narator dalam The Illogic of Kassel tulisan Enrique Vila-Matas, di mana sebaik sahaja melangkah masuk ke dalam sebuah ruang kosong yang sepatutnya mempamer kerja-kerja seni: "Faced with such emptying out I couldn't help but remember the Sunday morning a few years back now when they open the newly built museum of contemporary art in Barcelona (the MACBA) to the public with evident haste; they threw it open  to the citizens, but without pictures, not a single painting or sculpture, nothing inside it.
